Holly and Dan are getting married in September and both seems a little nervous about being in front of the camera - it seems to be a common problem. An engagement shoot is the perfect way to get over this and I think it help them both on the day. They have got to know me a little better and me them.
Dan is a hard man to pin down - he's super busy at the weekends! So we decided to get up bright and breezy and meet at 7.30am at their favourite woods. A place that both of them used to go as children but now go to walk their dog together. Thankfully the sun was shining so the light was quite...
I am absolutely thrilled to have been featured on Your Perfect Wedding Photographer website! It looks amazing and I couldn't be more proud. Do have a look x
It was an absolute pleasure to take the engagement shots of Natalie and Nick who are getting married next year. They chose the wonderful Lewes Castle as a backdrop and the weather was very kind! Looking forward to having fun with the wedding photography...x
I spent a day taking promo shots of local business women at Miss Mabel's Emporium a couple of weeks ago. The women's business areas were very fascinating: authors, marketeers, fashion gurus and so on....a lovely broad spectrum which made for a varied shoot! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely do it again...here's a taster x
The village school, the one both of my boys attend, asked me to take a few shots of the fundraising Barn Dance the PTA had organised. Great fun, great costumes and lot's of thigh slapping! Doris Day, Clint Eastwood and Huck Finn were in attendance (!), I haven't laughed so much for a while - thank you ladies.
I was absolutely thrilled to try out my pop up studio last week. I had a great model in the shape of baby Nate, a glorious 6 months old. He was so good - always smiling and making my job very easy. The studio held out well although I wasn't as happy with the backdrops as I could have been - a little more work to do on those I think. But it is definitely a step forward and I am confident in using it outside of my house! Hopefully I will have some pop-up sessions scheduled in at local businesses soon. More on that shortly! In the meantime here is a taster from Nate's shoot. More can be seen...
Spring will be here very soon (please Spring I'm getting too cold now!) and it's a lovely time to have a family shoot - think bluebells...poppies....sunny walks....and to make it even better I'm offering 10% off of a family shoot if you book before the end of February! Please spread the word x
I have reached the magical 100 likes on my FB page a week ago so the winner was drawn from those who liked and shared.
Louise Davis will be having a family shoot in the Spring!
