I was so pleased these workshops were such a success and I have had amazing feedback from my clients. I will be running these sessions again so please follow me on facebook/twitter for more dates. In the meantime here's a taster....x
I've had a busy end to the year with lot's of different projects but the largest thing I have worked on for a while was the Christmas Fair organised by The Fairy Tale Fair. Over 70 stalls selling festive wares in Worthing. See Claire's blog on her website http://www.thefairytalefair.co.uk/so-this-is-christmas-the-photos-are-in/
and more images on my facebook page.
I had a few weddings in September, it was a busy time, but being part of Felicity and Tom's wedding was a complete honour. It was a small, intimate wedding for close family and friends held at Saltdean Church and then at The Cricketers Pub in Brighton. There wasn't a dry eye in the house during the ceremony because of the raw emotion felt by everyone and then again during their daughter Bethany's christening because of laughter - it was a wonderful to experience. We had an absolute ball down on the seafront taking photo's and generally larking about. Some weddings can be stressful but I can honestly...
I was very lucky to be asked to photograph Holly and John's wedding at Ghyll Manor in September. I was a really fun, relaxed day and everyone seemed to have a ball! Holly didn't want any preparation photo's so John had a few extra ones taken with his groomsmen. They were all good fun and the group shots were particularly entertaining to do. I was surrounded by guests also taking their shots which created a great atmosphere although I had to be careful as people strayed into shot by mistake! It was very much a family wedding, Holly's mum had taken charge on the reception decorations and had done...
I'm very excited to announce that I have become the resident photographer for recruitment firm Ten2Two Sussex. The are a great firm specialising in getting mums and dads back into work with flexible working hours. I am lucky to get involved with lots of social media shots for candidates and also snapping away for Ten2Two during the events they hold for the candidates.
I am very fortunate to have a vintage wedding designer as a friend. Every now and then she completes another off the peg collection for sale from her etsy shop and soon to be live website. I am the very lucky one who gets to go along and photograph Ella in these wonderful gowns. Ella is a fab young lady who is preened and hair sprayed to within an inch of her life by Lucy and then does her stuff. I have to admit it is one of my top shoots every time. The glass of fizz was the cherry on the icing on the cake this time! Thanks ladies x
I spent a lovely time photographing Rachel who needed some images for her new business website that is being built. Her favourite things are the beach and flowers, so that's where we started! The weather was amazing and I am really pleased with the results.
I was asked to do a family shoot over the summer holidays for a birthday present for a lovely grandmother with all of her family. I was really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint! It's always a bit crazy with lots of young children running around everywhere but wonderful when you get "that" picture.
Francesca and Louie were absolutely beautiful to shoot and seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves - even though Louie had been awake since 5am that morning! It did help that the sun was shining and the park looked amazing.
I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel's little man who had just turned 12 weeks. He was absolutely adorable and as with this age, very keen not to miss out on anything! We did manage to get some awake and sleepy shots and I was pleased with the results. The weather was hot and bothersome but he was a real trooper - I think Rachel and myself were the shattered ones at the end of it!
